- Q & A
Any light, any situation.
In order to test the Native Eyewear El Jefe sunglasses, they became my everyday and every-adventure sunglasses. Working and recreating in the Colorado outdoors, I wear sunglasses for a majority of my day-to-day life. I wear glasses often enough where I have a permanent tan on the bridge of my nose. Let’s just say that this reviewer’s optometrist loves him.
Over the testing period, these sunglasses followed me in all conditions. From sunny spring days, to cold and miserable epics in the alpine. These glasses held their own in every possible light condition, and the versatility of the lenses make these glasses a remarkable tool in the the outdoors. The ability of the El Jefe sunglasses became most apparent in the backcountry, making the stark dimorphism of low light skiing and Bluebird colorado days a non-issue.
True to their design, the El Jefe sunglasses blur the line between performance and style. Where one could transition from ski to apres-ski without the need to take them off. For your average skier, runner, climber etc - they are an everything piece of gear.
