Trail Mix Plus Insulated Hydration Belt

The perfect companion to long runs in hot weather, Nathan's Trail Mix Plus Insulated Hydration Belt is an easy and comfortable way to bring along all the essentials for an hour or two on the trail. Its soft and stretchy belt sits comfortably at your hips as you run, while the secure holsters deliver quick, one-handed access to your hydration flasks. The 10oz flasks themselves are insulated, so they'll stay nice and cold even in the warmest weather, and the push-pull blast valve provides high-volume bursts of liquid so you can wet your whistle quickly and efficiently on the trail. The main pouch has a small front stash pocket for gels and snacks, as well as a main compartment that accommodates most large-format smartphones. Two shock cords on either side allow you to lash on smaller accessories and keys, and reflective elements help keep you visible when you get back to the trailhead at sun down and still have to run a mile or two on home.

Quality concerns but great design

Love this best and storage size but after a few months the zipper came apart! Great customer service in replacing the item but if this one’s does not last I might look elsewhere.

Terrible Model

Terrible! Running friends & I've been using Nathan Hydration belts for 10+ yrs. This one 's horrible. Elastics that hold bottle holders on the belt started shredding by my 6th 5mi, casual run. By run 8, had to start sew/weave the elastics to make it somewhat usable. By 10th run, elastics completely shredded beyond repair. Contacted Nathan. They kindly replaced it w/the exact same model. It lasted thru 30 runs this time, an improvement, but not satisfactory.run friends & I miss the old, reliable 4i bottle Nathan hydration running belts. Now we all have to buy our hydration belts from other manufacturers. Nathan use to be the belt that you saw on running paths & races (&hiking trails) - not any more. Too bad, they were great in the past

Bottles fall out after 3rd use!

I had to hack my belt to keep the bottles from falling out. All the other features are great. My phone with the case fits there’s plenty of room for my keys and lots of energy fuel. I do have to tighten the belt after each use.

Looks great

The product looks great and like a good quality but the elastic band on the side broke immediately or came broken not sure how that happened!

Elastic wears out and you'll lose the water bottle

Agree with the other poor reviews. Started losing the water bottles out of the holder after a couple of months as the elastic wears out. Can't buy replacement water bottles and can't tighten the elastic. Much worse than the original TrailMix Plus belt

Close to perfect for what I need!

I love my hydration belt and I'm looking forward to using it for my first half marathon. I do wish the pocket was just a little bigger because it's a tight squeeze to get my phone in. I'm also learning how to use the bungees correctly so I don't lose my fuel along the way!

The belt is too loose

I am not necessarily the thinnest person, yet i have to cinch the belt as tight as i can, yet it is still loose and slips down off of ny hips. Also, the water bottles have bounced out of the belt when full. I do like the new insulated bottles though, as my water stayed colder much longer than the previous bottles.

Wanted to like it, but never could.

The belt starts out OK but the elastic holding the bottle holsters to the belt will wear out as they rub against the plastic holster. That piece isnt strong or tight enough to give a secure feeling of full bottles and quite frankly the whole belt bounces quite a bit, especially if you have something heavy like a phone in the pocket. To feel somewhat secure I had to tighten the belt all the down which created a lot of slack in the webbing part of the belt. These used to be more sturdy. Not worth th epurchase

Wears out quickly

This belt starts off great. Unfortunately, after a few months the elastic straps that hold the bottles in will wear out and lose their ability to hold the water bottles in the belt. My bottles have started flying out of the belt while running, rendering the belt essentially useless. Reading other reviews, this is obviously a reoccurring flaw with this particular product.

Bounds and leaks in bottle tops

Elastic that holds bottle cage has stretched out and they, like everyone else has said, bounce around and are loose. The caps from the beginning leak and so when I take a drink, water (or hydration mix) dribbles all over my face. Its irritating!
