Poor stitching

The stitching on bottom of the gel storage tipped apart and all my salt pills and gels fell out during my run 2 days ago. I used the pack less than 10 times.

love/hate

i like this belt (nice size water bottle) and have bought it 3 or 4 times because the elastic bands eventually break!

Poor quality

Disappointed in product due to poor quality of pocket/pouch. Bottom seam ripped after less than 5 uses.

design issue in new version

Same exact experience as another reviewer! I has an old version that lasted many years, Just bought 3 for the family and the zippers on all of them immediately broke. The top belt in the photo is 5 months old and the bottom is 4 years old. Now, I need to duct tape to keep my closed.

Previously good pack that now uses subpar material

The overall design of this pack has been great and my go-to for about the last decade of ultramarathon running. You can fit a collapsible handheld, large iPhone, collapsed running hat, and more in the zippered pouch and a large bottle is easily taken and replaced in the bottle slot. I never use the bottle they provide; you can put a full 20oz'er in there. So, why a 2 star review? Because they have gone with a cheaper design now and you can see the evidence in the other recent reviews. See the attached photo. On the bottom is this pack from a few years ago when they built it with quality materials. On the top is the recent one I got in August 2023. Look closely at the material that is used on the left side of the zipper. The old pack had firm, non-tear material similar to what is used in tents (but thicker). The new pack has a very flimsy stretch fabric that tears easily. Invariably people have been pulling the zipper a little hard and tearing it much more than with older versions. It doesn't take much to tear. I know I didn't pull it hard at all when it tore for me. Buy at your own risk and make sure to baby the zipper or it will tear for you also.

LOVE THE BELT, BUT IT FELL APART FAST

I love the design of this belt. It is comfortable, has a big pocket to fit my iPhone 13, id, kleenexes, even a foldable raincoat. BUT, it fell apart after about a year and a half, the zipper pull coming off and the stitching coming loose under the pocket. PLEASE NATHAN, FIX THESE PROBLEMS!!!!

Weak, single stitched seams.

I found it comfortable but it didn't last. A seam on the mesh pouch tore after about 8 runs. Luckily I heard something drop before I lost my keys on trail. I also wish there were a loop inside the pouch to secure a key...for this reason.

Can’t go wrong!

Excellent hydration waist belt. Comfortable and lightweight made my 11.5 hike enjoyable. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Disappointed

Was looking for a waist pack hydration belt. Thought this one would be nice since you wear it on your back. After wearing it a few times on my longer runs, I am not a fan. It constantly rides up your waist no matter how you try to position it (higher or lower on your waist). Straps also keep getting looser no matter how you try to fix it. Quality is nice, just disappointed because I don’t want to be constantly adjusting equipment while I’m running. It’s very distracting and annoying. I will be looking for a different type of hydration system.

No Bounce

I love the hydration belt. It fits really well and doesn’t bounce at all.
