It’s all in the cut.
Nalini’s Ride Bib Shorts for women wrap your body like a tight-fitting second skin to reduce fatigue caused by road vibration. This tight fit also makes you more aerodynamic. Nalini paid special attention to the cut of the Ride bib short, so it works with your body in the seated, pedaling position to increase your comfort and efficiency.
The main body fabric is Hot Moa Light compression spandex with a tight, anatomic fit. Nalini chose this particular fabric for its low weight, extreme breathability, and compressive qualities. Not only does the Ride reduce fatigue by holding the muscles in place to protect from the road’s relentless vibration, it provides support while you’re asking your muscles to push harder and harder mile after mile. The uppers are made with a highly breathable anatomic-fit synthetic mesh fabric. As this fabric promotes airflow, it works with your body to regulate temperatures and increase endurance. The crotch panel is an anti-abrasion material for added durability.
The bib shorts are form fit and were designed with the moving body in mind. To this end, the panels have been cut to follow the anatomy of the body while in the cycling position. All of the seams have been flatlock stitched to minimize chafing, and the 4.5cm silicone leg grippers keep the bibs in place without the irritation of thin elastic.
The bib shorts feature Nalini’s women-specific Race Lady chamois to keep you riding in comfort hour after hour. This chamois uses strategically placed gel inserts to relieve pressure and eliminate numbness. Not only does it provide support for your sit bones and cushioning for your soft tissue, it is also antimicrobial and moisture wicking to keep you cool and dry.

- Q & A
Incredible fit, horrible pad
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: small
The fit in these shorts is very nice. It covered most of my girlfriends leg and the straps were just as long as they needed to be.
She didn't really notice at first, but the pad is ridiculously thin and uses a foam that feels like foam packaging. It has almost no density. Not sure how that's supposed to help your sit bones, which take a pretty sizable amount of weight.
