An all-arounder that takes no flak from chop or the open water, the board's wide nose and tail lend themselves to overall stability. And the displacement hull shape in the nose hungrily cuts through rough water, making the GS a generally smoother ride in varied conditions. The Glide's squared tail with accompanying fin helps it track better, increasing the number of strokes you can take per side without the board getting squirrely and changing direction, which is important on longer tours where you'll be likely to take hundreds, if not thousands, of strokes per side.
