Pack Fly

Available in three different sizes and accommodating packs all the way from 25-105L, it's perfect for everything from quick day hikes to multi-week backpacking missions. A built-in pocket ensures that you can have quick access to snacks and gear that would otherwise be stuck hiding in your pack, and also doubles as a stuff sack when blue skies return and it's time to tuck the fly away for (hopefully) another day.

A great Radix Fit
Bought to cover my Radix 57. Fits great with room for fly rod case and wet shoes. Safety orange color is a plus.

It's a pack fly
Honestly, I've never used it yet but I did put it over my Bridger 35 and it fit. It's a rain cover. My biggest complaint is that it's a pain when trying to fold it back to store it. Like another viewer said, it's best to have it or something similar in case you get caught out in some adverse weather conditions.

Fits well, nice quality.
Glad that I got these for our day packs. After a few days of use in the rain they are quite water resistant. The only draw back is when the rain runs off your jacket into the bottom of the cover it doesn't have drain holes. That was quickly fix by installing 3 eyelets across the bottom.

Does what it is designed to do
Fits well and seems fairly durable. Luckily I have not had to use it yet, but I have the confidence that it will when needed.

Why is this a stand-alone purchase?
No issues with this product to date. Its ability to fold into its own pouch is a handy feature. I just don't understand why this isn't included when you purchase one of Mystery Ranch's backpacks.

Buy the fly
Simple product but well-made and a perfect fit. Ingenious integrated stuff sack. Pass on the generic junk and buy genuine MR accessories.

Works!
Purchased a medium to go along with my Bridger 65 size medium and it worked well on my first hike with the pair when I ended up in a downpour and then on and off rain and drizzle. I had my tent strapped under the pack and the medium rainfly still wrapped fully around everything, although I did not have the pack filled to the brim. Everything stayed dry and the pack fly felt durable and was not billowing out anywhere to be caught on branches etc. I have confidence in it lasting quite a long time. I've trekked through Nepal, the Rockies, the PNW, and now around the blue ridge and always used inferior products for rain protection (garbage bag, jacket thrown over my pack, etc.) and am now glad to have a nice, better-functioning solution. Thanks for a great product!
