Why We Like The Mission Rover 60L Plus Duffel

Smart and adventurous, the Mission Rover keeps us organized as we work on the go. The padded sleeve and office compartment safeguard our laptop, pens, cords, and all the other stuff we need to pay the bills, while the dirtbag pocket separates our muddy runners and sweaty layers from our more crisp video-call duds. With haul handles, a shoulder strap, and a stowable backpack harness, this bag keeps our carry options open for optimal convenience.

45L Mission Rover

Bought to use for multi-day buisness trips. 45L bag was advertised as largest carry on size and it fits perfectly in overhead bins when loaded out. It’s a tight fit in the smaller jets like the CRJ but it works.

Laptop doesn't fit in the pocket designed for it

Please make the laptop compartment out of some other material, spandex or whatever yoga pants are made of. I got the bag for buissness and travel needs and although I love the compartments I still need to bring another bag for the office gear. Please Fix.

Love it!

Old travel backpack was actually falling apart at the seams after decades of service as a carry on and as an improvised backpacking pack. To upgrade the backpacking and hauling I decided to go with Mystery Ranch because...... well they're Mystery Ranch. We have been using them so long for their tremendous packs that some of them even say Dana Designs. After some research I landed on the Rover so it would be the right size, After one week long trip, I couldn't be happier. The Zoid cubes fit perfectly, and I have never been more organized. I love everything about the bag! OK I would have preferred the brown color, but it was sold out because everyone else felt the same way.

Great Travel Pack

I bought this for travel and it is a great pack loaded with good inside features. It could use some external pockets/storage.

Love it!

I got my Mission Rover about two weeks ago and have used it twice. The first trip was by car - I was gone for six days - the Mission Rover handled all of my clothes with no issue. The design allowed me to keep a second pair of shoes and even my dirty laundry separated from my clean clothes. The second trip was only for three days, and I went by aircraft. The Mission Rover fit in the overhead compartment without issue and held everything I needed. I couldn't be happier with the pack.

High quality Carry-on Bag Found!

I was looking for a high quality bag of the perfect size for a carry-on that would easily hold everything I needed for at least a week. This definitely delivered.I recently was on a week-long trip for the first time with the bag and it performed nicely. The material and zippers are of high quality. Paired with some packing cubes I was able to get everything I needed into this bag neatly along with two laptops and an extra set of shoe. Importantly, I was able to easily fit it into the overhead bin on the airplane. However, only addition I wish it had was compression straps so I could've reduced it's profile a bit more in the case it was one of the smaller airplanes with smaller overhead bins.

Very nice weekend pack

Very thoughtful features and the perfect size for a weekend carry on bag. Good quality as well. This is my second one of these, with the other being the largest size.

Good pack

Great internal layout for travel. Could use 1-2 exterior mesh pockets for water bottle etc.

So close to perfect

Really want to live the bag. Materials and build quality are top notch. Straps comfortable and easily adjustable. Interior compartments easy to access, and I love the quality of mesh used compared to so many other bags. I can’t say enough good things about build quality and materials. My main complaint is the exterior compartment and laptop sleeve location. If you even slightly overpack the bag, the exterior compartment is unusable. There is no flexible space to this compartment that is not used up by the underlying interior compartment. The exterior location of the laptop sleeve concerns me regarding lack of protection to the laptop, as well as uneven weight distribution. Works better with tablet than a laptop. It seems to me a simple fix would be to add a thin separate laptop sleeve on the back strap side of the pack that is accessible from outside. That would make this an absolute star of a pack. An exterior water bottle holder would be a plus, and it seems a lot of people would use that as well.
