Safety doesn't have to surpass fun.

Whether it's the laws of the land or simply good sense, when you take to the water in your sailboat or pontoon boat, make sure your kid is wearing the Mustang Survival Kids' Lil' Legends 100 Personal Flotation Device. From a company that supplies the Coast Guard and commercial mariners comes a easy-moving, well-ventilated life jacket that will fit kids of all shapes and sizes. The segmented pillow lets your little one move his or her melon without any trouble, and the crotch strap ensures slippage isn't an issue.
AirSoft foam is a triple play for fun in the sun. It's lightweight so your tyke won't be lugging lead weights. It floats so your tyke stays above the water.  It's flexible so your tyke can move any which way without limit. This fabulous foam fills out both the body and segmented head pillow for maximum mobility and comfort. The pillow helps your mini-me keep his or her head above water, but nothing replaces knowing how to swim.
Heat can turn fun foul, but that's one more worry off your list. Cooling channels and mesh in back keep fresh air flowing so your little sea monkey stays cool. Wide webbing makes cinching the waist and crotch straps simple for you and painless for your child. Sturdy Delrink buckles are easy for you to work and tough enough to withstand the rigors of your active kid. Whether you're only going for a quick spin across the lake or planning a full week of paddling, your little one will want to stay out longer when wearing this ultra-comfy PFD.

    Baby Floater

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

It's tough to find a legit pfd for a super little guy. He's not big enough to be in the rapids yet, but even on flatwater it's nice to know he's in a real jacket.

    Good but not great

I got this more my 3 year old. Unfortunately it wasn't that comfortable for her so there was a lot of complaining. It does seem to float well but not something she wants to wear.

      Great infant life jacket

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I purchased this for my 13 month old daughter who ran the Desolation river for 5 days! Of course she didn't love putting it on at first, but it got better and better. She took naps in it and always wore it on the boat. A great fit and easy to put on and adjust to fit.

      Great Vest

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Bought this vest for my nephew for when we go boating. Perfect vest for all water activities. 3 year old need something while on a boat. Fits perfect for my nephew and helps teach him how to float on the lake.

      Nice Vest

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Great kids vest for running whitewater. Felt much better having 9 year old on Class 3 raft trip, knowing he had properly fitting PFD, not an over sized adult vest or a non-whitewater model.

      Unanswered Question

I'm looking for a life jacket for my two year old. Would this one turn him forward, and keep him face up if he was to fall in the water?
