Revo Trail Snowshoe
Snowy trails and off-the-beaten-track adventures are no match for the MSR Revo Trail Snowshoe. Made of tough, lightweight steel and injection-molded plastic, the Revo ExoTract deck boasts a stiff, stable platform and external traction walls to keep you from slipping and sliding when the going gets slick. There's also a Pivot steel crampon underfoot and a freeze-proof and glove-friendly DuoFit binding on top, which easily accommodates pretty much any footwear. If things get deep, pop on the modular flotation tails for some extra surface area to get you through the powder without turning your legs into jelly.

Versatile nice snowshoe
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Read some great things about these and they are definitely on the more affordable end as well. I used them and was able to hike up some pretty steep stuff and never felt sketchy at all. They're light and feel really durable. Should last a long time!

So far this is my first pair that I bought early in anticipation. So I'm just waiting. They look like they fit nicely, I just haven't been able to try them out yet cause summer.
Great all conditions snowshoe.
I was looking for a good shoe that would handle a variety of conditions, float well, be affordable, and settled on these. They handled their first trail outing just fine, and off trail in a foot of powder just as well too. I weigh around 180 with a daypack and I didn't feel like I was post-holing. Traction on steep, icy trails was great. Can't wait to take them out again in more snow!
Great for Ice fishing
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Got these to replace my old MSR classics. Used these mainly for ice fishing and they were amazing. The aggressive traction made dragging a 100+ lb sled through snow and slush noticably easier. They also helped greatly with lugging my gas powered ice auger around to drill holes. In sub zero temperatures they would ice up quickly from the slush on the ice but would come clean with a few light taps . These snow shoes now accompany me on every ice fishing trip.
