Love all the pockets in

Love all the pockets in side, and it’s a very sturdy tent, spent a couple nights in some serious storms this summer not a problem. Recommend the extra footprint as well

A bit interesting for a single person to setup but doable. First few weeks have been excellent.

Great Tent In Rain

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Bought this for a mountain festival. It poured rain for two days straight and tent remained completely dry and comfy without a tarp or footprint. I was able to set it up without assistance in less than ten minutes. The vestibule is good size.

Hopefull Greatness

I love this tent. We have done many miles in a Hubba Bubba and if this one stands the MSR test of durability it will become Great. The design is awesome, especially with the vestibule. Spacious yet compact, nice colors inside, 3 season camping, all are features easily witnessed. The only problem I've had thus far is I'm short, and It makes hooking the center tab a little tricky... but that's not a design flaw of the tent:)

I have3 only set it

I have3 only set it up but so far it is great exactly what I wanted fits two cots and dog beds very easily.

Perfect Tent for a Lightweight Car Camping Tent

First time out with this tent was to Assateague Island National Shoreline in MD in June 2021. Our campsite was on the sand with views of the ocean. With sustained winds of 15 mph, my wife and I were able to get the tent set up (two people were definitely needed). After the rain fly was attached and tied down with "sand" stakes, I had no worries this tent was going to be just fine until the wind died down. Although this is a 4-person tent, it was perfect for our family of 3 with extra room for all. When the rain fly flap was "open" for access to the tent, the rolled up portion of the flap became somewhat loose in the wind.... so MSR may want to consider adding one more tie-back. Other than that, I am very pleased with this tent. And if anyone is wondering.... we did see some wild horses on the beach.

Not good in high winds

Used this tent on the CA coast in a wind storm and it basically collapsed. Needed to re-set it up so the vestibule was facing the wind otherwise the sides of the tent collapsed. The door and vestibule zippers are hard to use and difficult to get in and out of. It's still a very well made tent and the head room is awesome as is all the side pockets for pocket gear. I haven't had it in rain yet but expect it will fair very well as the fly covers the tent very well.

great four-person tent

Bigger footprint that we are used to, but reasonable for the size. Love that we can stand up inside! Easy to set up.

Perfect comfort for two

We purchased this tent to use as a base camp at established campgrounds around Southern CA and the Sierras. I am a reluctant camper, but where we want to go hiking camping is the only good option. Have used it now on two 3-5 night trips, and am very happy with the tent. It's comfortable, fits a large two-person bed and loads of camp luggage inside, has plenty of vestibule room for shoes, has hooks all over the inside for hanging lanterns and jackets, and tons of internal pockets for stowing glasses/phones/tissues/etc. The tent is so easy to set up and nice to be inside of. The main door has mesh only on the top of the panel — great for privacy, less great for air flow. Heats up super fast in the sun, and can't cool it down easily. We know now to look for a shady site if we plan to use it during the warm part of the day (thankfully we are usually off hiking). Overall I highly recommend the product.
