    The champion of daypacks.

Based on its original design from 1995, the Mountain Smith World Cup Backpack boasts a few new, slightly more modern upgrades that cater to your on-the-go lifestyle. From pedaling in to work to rolling on two wheels around campus, the World Cup has a tough Cordura construction to hold up against the abuse of your daily adventures. Additionally, the supportive EVA framesheet and Airmesh backpanel help keep the load stable and well-ventilated as you pedal push around town.

In regards to its modernized upgrades, a side access laptop compartment keeps your computer close at hand for days in the classroom, while the front bungee straps stashes a rain jacket when the weather's unpredictable. Buckle in the waistbelt for even more stability when taking on longer rides, or remove it entirely when you're headed on a quick ride down the street to the store. Not to mention, a bevy of pockets offer storage for hydration, sunglasses, gloves, wallet, keys, and extra layers during your outing.

    • Durable fabric holds up to hard-hitting abuse
    • Side access laptop compartment safely stores computer
    • Bungee strap attachment holds light jackets
    • EVA framesheet with Airmesh panel keeps the ride stable and light

    Good for dads

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I got this pack for my dad's birthday. He travels a and bikes lot and wanted a pack that was durable, water resistant, and had plenty of storage pockets. He said this pack was able to stow under an airplane seat with all his gear, and likes that it has enough room for a bike helmet. He also likes the retro style of this pack

    Interesting bag

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought this to carry my overly big laptop. It carries that well if a little stiffly, which is inevitable carrying a lunchtray on your back.

It's a solid Carry system otherwise. Over built with big zippers, a large waist belt, and comfy contoured straps.

I like that the bottle pockets are so big that they can carry size 15 cross trainers, wine bottles and lots of other things, they are huge.

The main pack has bright yellow fabric inside and a hanging pouch. Visibility isn't bad with the fabric but I find myself over stuffing this, so I have to empty it.

The front pouch is ok. It carries my bike helmet or a large fleece if needed but if you blow out the gussets with a helmet it can get some rain in. The organization panel is basic but useful for little things. No zip pocket and only the big back slot has Velcro. This could be improved for ergonomics but the basic sustem also keeps me from loading it up with junk.

The bottom front has PALS webbing which will hold a small or medium pouch if needed but not needed much so far. A row on the lid wouldn't be a bad upgrade. The fleece pocket in the lid is small but nice and because of the overall shape my shades have been safe without a hard shell.

The Computer pocket is well padded. I've dropped the whole thing 4 or more feet at least 5 times and my computer still works. Awesome since that's why I bought it.

It carries well and is comfy as a shoulder carry bag for long periods if Thats your thing. Lock in the 1.5 in waist strap and the stretchy sternum strap and this thing hugs you for things like running or biking (it will hold my osprey bladder with a shoulder tie down for the tube).

    I'm big. 6'4
