This spacious tent is the largest in Mountainsmith's Evo fleet, with a 4-person capacity that boasts enough room for a few friends and maybe a pooch. The durable polyester walls can handle wear and tear and the PU-coated floor fights off morning dew.
The aluminum poles are lightweight yet super durable and the clip attachment makes it super easy to pop this thing up and down. Ample interior pockets and a removable gear loft let us stash headlamps, cards, and midnight snacks in an organized manner and the mesh panels allow for breezy ventilation on hot summer days. The included footprint and rain fly offer a fast-pitch option in case we decide to go the minimalist route this summer.

Excellent Tent for Car Camping

I purchased this tent after reading many positive reviews on other platforms, and was extremely happy with its performance. When set up properly, which is both fast and simple, it is very sturdy and good in inclement weather. I happened to get caught in a freak hail / rain storm while out on a 5 day trip, and the structure held strong and the rainfly kept the tent dry. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a roomy 2 person tent (how I use it) that will hold in weather.

Easy to set up, light-ish, kept us dry

I used this with the wife and 2 kids on a late-summer overnighter in the mountains. It was pretty easy to setup, and it was nice that it came with its own footprint. Despite not planning for it, we had a couple rain showers during night and had no leaks. When I disassembled it, I found that some moisture had accumulated on the inside of the outer barrier, but still nothing dripped through.
