Ties the whole ensemble together. Literally.

A man without a pewter belt buckle embossed with the Teton Peak, like, say, the Mountain Khakis Teton Belt Buckle, is just a guy in a great pair of work-ready pants, a plaid shirt, and cowboy hat.

Looking good

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Who doesn't love a good old fashion belt buckle?
I am a big fan it is super light and doesn't feel bulky at all! Just find a nice leather belt to hook it up with and you are good to go!

Not me... But still nice

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is a nice looking belt buckle and I really wanted to like it. However, I couldn't get past two things... 1) It is a lot shorter than it is wide, making it more of an long oval as opposed to a more circular oval (if that makes sense). As a bigger guy (6'1" 200lbs) I was hoping for something a little beefier (taller), as my belts tend to be thick leather. 2) The way the loop for the belt attachment swings out (actually outside the frame of the buckle itself) combined with the length of the buckle, if you are on the smallest hole in your belt, your belt will now be too big and the buckle will be hanging off. Great looking buckle, but just not for me.

Right for the price.

Looks great! But to be honest, it feels very lightweight and cheap to the touch. Then again, if you're looking for a solid burly buckle you're gonna have to dish out a lot more than $24.95.
