There's SHELLFISH in Pad Thai w/chicken.
I looked for a photo of the back of the package so I could read all the ingredients. There was only a photo of the front and of the meal in a dish. I chanced it. When it arrived, I was disappointed to find it contains OYSTER. Where food allergens are usually listed, after "CONTAINS:", Mountain House listed Sesame, Soy, Fish(Anchovies), but didn't list shellfish(oyster). I haven't eaten and won't eat it, but I imagine it would taste great in the wilderness. So I gave it 4 imaginary stars. :-)

Delicious!
The problem with these is they don't last in the pantry long. Flavor is fantastic. Just the right sized chunks of meat and the vegetables all come together perfectly.

Great Taste and simple as boiling water.
Like takeout from a Chinese restaurant only faster and less trouble. Excellent taste but could use more peppers. I like it spicy. Not everybody does so I understand why they keep it mild. It's still good.

Highly Recommended!!
An excellent take on an Asian meal. I appreciate that MH does not add peanuts to this meal. I'm not allergic but due to Diverticulosis, peanuts are out for me. I did add a bit of peanut butter to the meal and it was fantastic!! MH should state clearly on the package that Pad Thai does not contain peanuts or peanut products. A member of a hiking group mentioned that she couldn't eat the MH Pad Thai due to peanut allergies. I told her that it does not contain peanuts.... :)

But You Don't Understand How Good This Is!
Just dug into mine today for the first time. Forget "adventure"! Forget "emergency"! THIS STUFF IS BETTER THAN MOST RESTAURANTS! My order for more is to be forthcoming as soon as finish this review...

Taste
I have tried most freeze dried companies out their. I got one of mountain house's 3 day kits/samplers (in my opinion) and they had the best flavor and lowest sodium out their. Since that I now have a 40 day supply and growing. Sample all survival and hiking foods people and I promise mountain house will beat the all especially on the sodium and sugar intake. The best

Tastes good!
I have never had Pad Thai before, so I can't compare it with a meal from a Thai restaurant, but this is tasty. I like the rice noodles, and there is a little heat with the sweetness of the sauce. Not overpowering, but you know it's there. The chicken came out tender. Glad I sampled this one. I will definitely get this again.

Backpacking old reliable
I needed to replenish my backpacking supplies and ordered some meals. A new one was Beef Stew, and an old favorite was the Pad Thai with Chicken. The Pad Thai doesn't take much time to rehydrate, and is one of the more flavorful meals. Give it a try.

At the top of the Mountain!!
Top notch. Absolutely delicious. Could not make the difference between the freshly prepared Pad Thai at my local restaurant and Mountain House. Both taste the same!!!

A Delicious and Convenient Treat: Pad Thai Dehydra
I recently tried the Mountain House Pad Thai dehydrated food, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. Despite being a dehydrated meal, the flavors were vibrant and authentic. The mix of spices and seasonings gave it an enticing aroma that made my mouth water even before I took a bite. The preparation was surprisingly easy. With just a bit of boiling water and a few minutes of waiting, I had a steaming hot plate of Pad Thai ready to eat. The texture of the noodles was perfect, not too soft or too chewy, and they absorbed the sauce beautifully. One of the best parts of this dehydrated Pad Thai is its convenience. It's lightweight, easy to pack, and has a long shelf life, making it an ideal option for camping trips, hiking adventures, or even a quick meal at home when you don't feel like cooking. Overall, I highly recommend the Pad Thai dehydrated food for anyone looking for a delicious, hassle-free meal that doesn't compromise on taste or quality. It's a convenient and tasty option that I'll definitely be keeping in my pantry for future cravings.
