    Off-the-grid grub.

During long treks or expeditions off the grid, the Mountain House Noodles and Chicken provides 2.5 servings of comfort food and refueling nutrients to keep your mind and body sharp. Since this dehydrated meal weighs under five ounces, you won't have to think twice about stuffing it in your already bulging pack, and once you taste the creamy chicken and noodles in the middle of the wilderness, you'll know this entree was well worth its skinny weight.

    Festival Approved

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

So if you are looking for an cheap way to eat at a music festival get mountain house meals. They are a great way to cut down costs and also keep you satisfied. We are going to Electric forest this year and since we can't fly with a larger cooler, like we normally do, we need to cut down on the refrigerated items.

    Hot Food without Elaborate Planning

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If you are looking for an easy meal over a weekend trip I love the mountain house meals. All you need is a jetboil or stove and water. No need to bring along a cooler or worry if you have enough ice. They also do taste pretty good!

    MH doesn't disappoint

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The creamy noodles and chicken are yummy and provide plenty of comfort at the end of a long day of adventures. Make sure to stir these well, as with any MH meal.

Add the buttered peas to take this one to the next level. Also, bacon might make it better if they added it. Then again, bacon makes everything better.
