A tasty, hearty, and healthy breakfast.

Grab the Mountain House Granola with Blueberries and Milk from your supply of camping food before a planned backpacking trip or a last-minute overnighter. Add hot or cold water for a warm backcountry meal or a tasty summer snack, respectively.

    Bees knees!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I wouldn't be surprised if this is the most popular mountain house meal. It's simple, wholesome, and delicious. It doesn't even require a cook time. Although you can use hot water if you'd like, I just prefer it cold. I just pour the directed amount of cold water in and stir it up. It's like the best breakfast cereal that you can buy! I pretty much exclusively eat this option for breakfast while on the trail. Two, HUGE thumbs up!!

    So good!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Had zero expectations about this, but it was a hit all around. Definitely buying more in the future! Best part is that you don't have to heat any water to eat. Just pour some in and boom...Delicious breakfast!

Granola and milk is one of my favorite breakfasts when backpacking. It's a great change up from oatmeal and can be eaten hot or cold depending on what you're feeling. The dried blueberries are an excellent added touch too!

    Sooooooo good!

This is a great start to any day out in the wilderness. Just add a little bit of cold water and stir. I would eat one of these in the morning and it would give me enough energy to make it through to lunch. Tastes great and has a good amount of calories. I also have tried the Strawberry one. Same story there. Feel free to hit me up with any backpacking suggestions, gear or food!

      Don't buy other brands.

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This breakfast is the BOMB!!! If you don't believe me try one from some other brand. You might as well take cash and burn it because you will not find better quality or flavor. Mountain House rules and this is one of the best they have! 10 out of 10

      Yum, yum

I found the granola with milk meals to be the perfect solution for breakfast while on the trail. The thought of eating an egg based dehydrated meal sounds pretty gross and I was happy with the decision to go with the granola based breakfast meals.

Perfect breakfast for the mountains! This was honestly delicious. If you are wanting a lighter meal before you head out for the day, this is it. Just add water and it's good to go! no need to heat up water and wait. It is ready to go immediately!

      The milk tastes great!

This is actually a pretty delicious cereal! You can use cold water to have cold cereal and it has powdered milk that tastes like real milk! I like to add a little less water than it suggests so it's not overpowered by tons of milk compared to the granola. If you enjoy milk and granola cereal this is a great one to take on your next outing.

Pro Tip: Don't turn your zip-locked bag upside down to help mix the water and food. The zip-lock feature is not very strong and you will most likely dump your food all over the ground. I have seen this happen many times.
