Why We Like The Mountain Hardwear Ventano Jacket

Mountain Hardwear strikes the perfect balance of lightweight insulation and durable protection in the Ventano Jacket. • Lightweight insulated jacket designed for alpine activities
  • Ripstop fabric handles hard-wearing adventures with ease

Light, warm, and compact

More than content with this jacket purchase! It's light, kept me warm, and can pack up really compact for ease of storage when you're not using it. I recently used this on a hike in the Canadian rockies in winter on a 5 hour hike with 744M elevation gain. When I reached the summit, it was very exposed and the wind was blowing really strong around 65km/hr. The jacket kept me warm along with another mountain hardwear gore-tex jacket I had on top of it. I would highly recommend!

Paper thin!

I've used it several times
Size Bought:

I bought it on close out after the season. Was unpleasantly surprised at how thin it is! I would have returned it but for the meaningfully discounted price. I wouldn’t buy it again.
