Super DS Stretchdown Jacket

Whether you are heading to the crag for an afternoon of shoulder season sport routes or attempting an early season trad mission, slip on the Mountain Hardwear Super DS Stretchdown Jacket. This down jacket boasts 700-fill goose down that offers an impressive warmth to weight ratio that keeps you moving up a tricky route, or keeps you warm and cozy while belaying. Bought this to replace 3 year old North Face Thermo Ball jacket that just wasnt keeping me as warm. I like this one better. Matte finish on the outside looks nicer, like the pattern on the down pockets, very water resistant for light rain and packs down small to fit in my pack for the way up the hill. During the week I wear it almost every day on the way to and from work. Highly recomend.

This is a really awesome jacket! I love the style with the way they did the baffles and the matte color. The fit is also great, I am pretty tall and slender so sometimes it is difficult to find things that fit well but this one was perfect! The stretch is also a great addition because while it fits like a good jacket should, that usually would mean it's going to be a little bit restricting, not with this jacket! The stretch allows you to move freely. That along with how light the jacket is, make it seem like you're not even wearing one! Definitely would recommend! I loved it so much I even bought the hooded one in a different color!

Down jackets usually look very similar, this one has a unique style. It has a matte finish, which I really like. It is quieter than most down jackets and the stretch makes it super comfortable to wear with a pack. I took it camping and you are always moving around, setting up the tent, playing with the kids, getting the food ready. I didn't even notice the jacket, which I think is an awesome statement. Highly recommend.

Why doesn't the zinc colored jacket pictured have the Mountain Hardware logo on the front by the zipper like the others do?
