Great all season coat

Excellent light and warm coat. Love it that no logo is on a jacket as I find those to be annoying.

Great coat

It is a heavy duty coat - very thick and comfortable. It is clear that a lot of thought was put into the design - which I appreciate very much. Double zippers, waist and neck adjustable, lots of pockets, side zippers for sitting.... I am very happy and sure it will serve me well for years to come.

Looked good online! (Not on me! Lol)

I recently bought this jacket but decided to return it for several reasons. The fit was very odd and boxy. It fit me loosely in the torso area but was very tight in the arms and chest area. It seemed like the length was not quite a parka but not quite a ski jacket. Also I thought it was made from entirely waterproof gortex and filled with down but the gortex is the titanium kind (not waterproof), and it’s not even on the entire coat, also it’s a lint magnet, in the few days it was in my house it managed to attract a bunch of dust because it seems to be the nature of the material. I found the drawstring at the waistline did not do much for the appearance of the jacket either. For all those reasons, I decided to return the jacket.

Great coat, not fully waterproof

I'm so bummed! This jacket was super comfortable, fit great, looked great, and ISN'T waterproof. I assumed "Gore-Tex" = "waterproof" but this is a different wind-blocking tech that isn't. It would probably be great for a different climate, but in the rainy PNW I'm only going to spend this much on a waterproof down parka.

Sizing is huge

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it
Size Bought:
M
Height:
5' 3"
Weight:
123

I ordered a Medium in this jacket, thinking I would want to layer it over a sweater. It was gigantic, I could probably wear 3 sweaters underneath and it still wouldn't be anywhere close to fitting.

Boxy Jacket

I bought this jacket to wear around town, and wanted to love this jacket, but I find it's a very awkward shape. It's quite boxy and the sleeves are short. Similarly to the other reviews, I found the draw string at the waist is a bit high, but I also found it didn't really do much. Like a lot of Mountain Hardwear clothing, I found this parka it fit large. I'm between a small and medium in most brands, and a small (or x-small) in almost all Mountain Hardwear clothing. I'm 5'4, 135 lbs, broad shoulders and 36 in bust, fairly athletic build, and I got a size small - if that helps anyone.

Insulated hoodie

I love the length and has a good number of pockets. The insulated hoodie is a plus for warmth without sacrificing hairstyle.

Warm and well-designed!

This jacket is just what I was looking for to stay warm during MN winters. The down is warming without being bulky and the Gore-Tex protects from the wind. Details like fleece-lined outer pockets and collar are perfect touches. It does run large as I’m typically a size S (5’-1”, 120lbs) and ended up going with an XS.
