Perfect for trip to Peru
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I'm Charlotte, a French climber in my 30s, and I've been expatriated in fun Salt Lake City, UT for 2 years now. We used the Stronghold tent during a 10 days trip in high altitude in Peru in 2019, and we had a great experience. Once packed up, the tent is obviously heavy but it actually fit in a regular duffel bag and was just under the airline bag allowance weight, so it was great not to have to pay for it extra. Once on site, we were 6 people using during the day, and 4 people sleeping in it. We had a lot of space as it is made for up to 10 people, which made it nice to walk around inside comfortably, and dedicate a zone to sleeping and another one to storage/kitchen. Haven't used it since then - well we set it up in our backyard for fun, but that doesn't count! - and I'm looking forward to the day it will come to use it out there again!
