Great light jacket
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: XL
- Height: 6'0"
- Weight: 215lbs
I was looking for a heavier fleece and this is perfect. I love the outer nylon canvas. It adds a bit more durability and won't pile and sheds dirt and debris better than a normal fleece surface. It looks a little wrinkly but still looks good. The nylon is only over the back, front and tops of the sleeves. It's not found on the sides or under the sleeves. In these areas is the kind of smooth outer surface that you find on some fleece jackets.
The hand pockets for this jacket are huge. The fit of the jacket is pretty normal to larger than normal (not athletic nor slim). I am typically a firm XL on sizing as I have wide shoulders and long arms (going for the gorilla look) - rarely does an L fit to my satisfaction but I could almost do the L in this. If you are normally between two sizes I'd maybe go with the smaller of the two.
Overall this is a great fleece jacket for when you want more warmth than a normal fleece and a bit more protection from dirt and such.
