When you're backpacking in the high alpine or embarking on some cold weather camping, the Mountain Hardwear Rock Sleeping bag keeps you comfortable in zero degree conditions. Its 650-fill down is light and compresses small into its included stuff sack so you can easily bring it along in your pack. The standard mummy cut efficiently traps your body heat and the draft collar prevents that heat from escaping the bag as you sleep. Additionally, a down-filled face gasket blocks chilly drafts at the hood opening for extra warmth. If you get too warm in the night, the two-way zipper allows you to quickly ventilate.

I'm Charlotte, a French climber in my 30s, and I've been expatriated in fun Salt Lake City, UT for 2 years now. I've had this sleeping bag for about 2 years now and I've used it in many occasions and it's been perfect everytime. It kept me warm during an expedition in Peru where we slept at 15,000 ft, and also keeps me very comfy when I use it as a cover when we go camp up around home in a not so extreme situation.

Awesome bag
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Bought this bag for a last minute trip. Spent 5 nights in the tent including two 10-12 degree nights. Kept me extremely warm, light weight and easy to pack. Zipper can get a little difficult, but overall its a solid bag.
