great joggers

Drawstring??
Why don’t more of the womens pants have drawstrings! These pants are all amazing… expect if you’re an active woman. I have multiple pairs of MH pants and they all slide down when hiking/mountain biking/climbing. More for style. Less for activity.

Too big with a baggy crotch
Giving these two stars because of the sizing…. They are much baggier than mountain hardwear’s standard pant sizing has been - and while that can be nice for joggers, these just bunched up in the crotch and were super unflattering. I ultimately had to return them. For reference, I am 5’5, 150lbs, athletic build, and my hips are 36”. I am typically a size small and would have needed an extra small.

Super comfy
I was very pleased with these pants overall. They are well designed with lux tailoring and well placed deep pockets. The fabric is light and very stretchy. The waist band is wide and doesn’t stretch out. Best of all the ankle cuffs are very large so my legs actually fit! Unsure about durability since I’ve only just purchased. I’d love to see these in brighter colors.

Great Joggers
I am usually between a medium and large in MHW pants, so I was nervous when large was sold out and the only review said to size up, but a medium fit perfectly. The fabric is a bit more 'performance-y' than I was expecting, but that was a good surprise. Another surprise... a zippered back pocket that I didn't notice in the product images or description (the more pockets the better). I like the dusty purple color and hope that MHW keeps this style around with new, fun colors next season.

Seem warm for very cold days on the trail
Size up! I’m a small in all other MH pants. I need to exchange for a medium. No good pockets material looks a lil shiny. Jury is still out.
