My everyday winter top for more than ten years

Mountain Hardwear MicroChill 2.0 is my everyday winter top in Central Valley, CA. I likely own 12 to 14 black XXL versions of this item that I started purchasing more than ten years ago. My only complaint is that the Mountain Hardwear logo that is embroidered into the fabric on one side of the shirt looks silly. Why would Mountain Hardwear embroider its logo onto the side of the shirt under the arm pit? BTW, the first versions of this shirt that I purchased more than ten years ago are still in very good condition after being washed more than one hundred times.

Comfy Half-zip pullover

Like it. Warm. Soft. Nice fit. Like the 1/2 zip for more ventilation.

I really love the look of this and the fit, however, the stitching on the inside is very uncomfortable. Wearing a tank or t-shirt it is so irritating all through the arms. That is my only complaint with this.

Great fit and color. Quality is on point but the stitching is so irritating on the side of the arms.

Stylish enough to be worn all day as a casual shirt in the colder seasons, but functional enough to make a serious mid layer for my cold weather outings. I also like to carry mine in my pack to throw on for quick barrier against the chill on cool summer mornings/evenings in the mountains. There's so little weight penalty I can take it everywhere without a thought. A great piece for adding insulation year round.

Incredible warmth, comfort, and breathability.

One of the best mid layers I've ever worn. The way it pulls moisture off of the skin is extraordinary. I've worn it during long sweaty approaches in the snow and on sunny desert days and it shines equally well in both scenarios. Perfect layer to moderate your body temperature during any activity that changes ace frequently.

Not a very tightly knit fleece. Piled and shed easily.
