Redesigned, and worse

The old Mountain Hardware neck gaiter was made of a thinner, stretchier fabric that would fit under my bike helmet just fine. This new fabric, unfortunately, is too thick for that. So now, Mountain Hardware's neck gaiter is just like everyone else's. Too bad--I'd love to be able to buy one of their original designs--they were outstanding.

warm and functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gaiter does just what it sets out to do - keep your neck warm. Material and construction are great. It says "mens" but I'm a woman and find it fits just fine.

MHW Micro Neck Gaiter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great quality. Probably not designed for ear, nose, and neck coverage, but seems to work that way regardless. Not bulky at all. Could easily be worn as a skull cap with an open top. Fits under a cycling helmet if needed.

Simple - Quality Item

I do not have a big melon - fit is abit snugger than expected but nothing to waive off a purchase. Nice comfy material, quality workmanship & luv the color.

Perfect length!

Most neck gators are to short for my liking not the Micro Neck Gator by Mtn Hardware. Allows you to pull it up around the back of your head secure goggle or put on your helmet without exposing your neck. Great for both cold and inclement weather. Nothing can stay dry all day so I sport 2 of them one in the morning and a fresh one after lunch.....

Surprisingly useful

Somewhat to my surprise, I have found this product to be super useful, both as a high school Nordic ski coach and as a sea kayak guide. It's easy to stick in a pocket, and adds just enough extra warmth when needed. I've always been a fan of lightweight scarves, but this is easier to use.

Great Quality, Tight Fit

The quality is great of course, its MH, all their stuff is great. I wear a 17 1/2 collar, and it fit snug or "athletic" you could say. It would work, but tight clothing on my neck bugs me. I was hoping for a baggy fit.

Best neck warmer on the market

This is the best neck warmer on the market. Thought I lost my blue one. (found it down in my pack thank god!) But now have a back grey one. Soft and not too bulky. just right. love it. Have had my blue one for 5 years and after many washes still feels like new.
