I do use it a lot - but was initially disappointed because it's lighter weight than I thought. Just a piece of fleece sewn into a loop. Nothing fancy here with this. Not really long, maybe would have liked it to be an inch or so longer so it could sit on my nose and still reach far enough down.

    Wont ski without it now!

I kept getting wind burn and really irritated skin on my chin from skiing all day until this came along! I purchased it hoping it would at least help my face from getting scratched from my jacket, but I didn't realize how warm and comfortable it would be. Now I don't like skiing without it! It is thin enough too so I don't feel claustrophobic. Worth the buy!

    Works great

Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I've used this a couple times and it keeps the cold off your neck, and/or face if you pull it up. One thing to note is the gaiter I got does not have the big Mountain Hardware emblem on the front like the picture. Instead, it has a smaller tag on the bottom with the emblem. Not a big deal, but it does look a little different from the picture. I wore this on a ride in 44 degrees and it totally kept the wind and chill off my face and neck. It stretches over your face and stays put below the nose or above the nose easily--hopefully it will not ever stretch out. Thus far, I'm very impressed with this product and am glad I purchased it.

amazing, and integral piece of gear

Until you've used this, you don't know how useful it is. I'm a guy that doesn't own any scarves (I think they're too bulky and a little too fashionable for my tastes), so I've always just dealt with wind blowing through the neck opening of my jackets. However, I bought this for a trip to Toronto, and I must say, this makes all the difference. By using this with my MH ghost whisperer, and my MH beanie, I was toasty warm down to 20F with just a fleece underneath the ghost whisperer. This thing is great because you can pull it up to cover the bottom half of your face. This is also very light and can pack away easily. This was easily one of the best purchases I've ever made.

This is an exceptionally warm neck gaiter that is made of super soft micro fleece. I have another neck gaiter from Columbia and the fleece on this is much softer and nicer feeling. It has a slightly longer length on one side that helps to cover the back of the neck. It also fits well and is not too tight. i have a bigger than average head and this gaiter stretches nicely when I want to put on or take off the gaiter. Overall a great value product.
