    Down-like performance without the drawbacks.

The Mountain Hardwear Women's Laminina Z Torch 0 Degree Synthetic Sleeping Bag delivers women-specific warmth for winter camping in a synthetic package with lightweight compressibility that rivals the performance of down. Lamina welded construction anchors continuous insulation to a seamless, water-resistant shell fabric, and it allows the insulation to be selectively zoned to maximize warmth where you need it most while reducing weight and bulk in other areas. The result is a bag that insulates more efficiently while saving weight and packing down smaller. This women's model also packs more insulation than men's bags since women have been proven to sleep at colder temperatures than their male counterparts.

Lamina Revamp Ripstop fabric offers lightweight durability and water-resistance. Thermal.Q insulation is highly compressible and maintains excellent loft, which, when combined with Lamina construction, rivals the performance of down. And unlike down, Thermal.Q will continue to insulate even if it gets wet. A slight wider mummy cut allows you wear layers to bed when it's truly frigid outside. The comfort footbox lets your feet rest in a natural position, and the full-length zipper sports double sliders for adjustable ventilation. If you're planning on camping when snow blankets the ground, make sure you have the Lamina Z Blaze on your side.

    Great bag!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I love this sleeping bag! I've used it several times in below freezing temperatures and stayed comfortable all night! It's a little bulky for backpacking but in the stuff sack it clips nicely to the bottom of my 65L bag and it's definitely worth it once you're up in higher altitudes and not freezing all night! Great bag for the price.

    Too bulky for backpacking

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

This might be a super warm bag, but I had to return it. The bag was just too large—even when compressed—to fit in my backpack. If you're planning to car camp or have a large backpack, I'm sure it will work just fine.

    Unanswered Question

After reading some tech responses to some of your products, I noticed that the temperature ratings are a little mis-leading. This is a woman's bag and the temp listed is 0 degrees. Is that the lower limit or comfort rating?
