Great materials, really bad design.
On paper this is perfect: PrimaLoft Gold insulation, Pertex Quantum Air exterior and lining. The problem is the cut. Hood is enormous and cannot be tightened. Shoulders and chest are fine, but the bottom is way too lose and cannot be tightened, the lightest breeze lets cold air in. Returned.

Doesn’t pack into its pocket!
First off, I love a lot about this thing. I don’t know if it’s the active insulation or that 40units isn’t much, but this is the only jacket I can actually keep on during any activity. Skiing, climbing, hiking, the insulation combination is great. My main issues with it? IT DOESNT PACK INTO A POCKET! Called to ask and was told the regular non climbing version does but the climbing version doesn’t. Utterly ridiculous design. Climbers are the most frequent people I know who fold their jacket into a pocket in order o clip it . How could you get rid of such a standard feature for a climber specific jacket?! I would probably recommend to everyone otherwise l

Good layer for climbing

Agree with all of Greg's comments below. It's a basic layer that serves its purpose. The high zippered pockets are convenient when wearing a climbing harness. I paid ~$90 for it about a year ago and would happily pay the same price knowing what I do today about the jacket.

Perfect shoulder season climbing jacket
I own a lot of jackets for climbing and face a constant Goldilocks problem regarding warmth: some jackets are too warm, some not warm enough. The Kor Strata Climb jacket is the first jacket that feels “just right.” It keeps wind out and has just enough insulation, but breathes super well. The harness friendly fit and pockets is a nice touch as well. The hood is warm, but not sure if it is meant to fit inside or outside a helmet, but I haven’t tried wearing it with a helmet. My only complaint is that it is a bit too roomy in the torso for a mid layer. If worn under a belay parka, it feels a bit bunchy. But a pretty minor problem to have. MHW hit as close to a home run as one can get with this jacket.

Great lite mid-layer
I am 5'9 175lbs and bought a Medium. This Climb jacket fits a little roomier and longer on the body compared to my regular Kor Strata jackets. The regular Kor Strata was a bit too snug and short in Medium but the Climb fits my body perfectly. The hips of the jacket is tight like most MHW jackets but since the bottom portion has a stretchy fleece, it fits around my hips without being too snug. 40g of Primaloft Gold keeps you comfortably warm down to 50s/high 40s. The roomier fit and lighter breathable insulation and shell makes this jacket very comfortable for active use or for just lounging around the house. Hand pockets are slightly small and higher up but work well for their intended purpose. Hood is a bit big though, bigger than the regular Kor Strata. Don't see this hood staying on when it's windy and I have a big head. Overall, I am very please with this jacket and is definitely going to be my new go to jacket.

40g primaloft is insufficient insulation
The build of the jacket is lovely. ykk vislon zips, clearly durable ripstop nylon, I haven't owned the jacket long enough to comment on the stitch quality, will update if they fail. So, why a 1 star review for a jacket built so well? Unfortunately, it's tough to even call this a jacket. 40g primaloft offers no warmth. This isn't even suitable as a cold spring jacket. The point to which this jacket would be comfortable would be the point you consider skipping a jacket all together. The only purpose this thing serves is to prevent your clothing from getting scuffed when you're climbing.

Love this jacket!
I'm 5'11" and 155 lb and M size of Kor Strata Climb Jacket fits pretty well. Hood is elastic and spacious but not too loose nor clumsy. It itself keeps me warm and cozy in 55°~70°F days, and also serves as a great insulation layer as it's more breathable than my old down jacket. Water-resistance is not heavily tested, but it works at least in drizzling day. This jacket is only 0.8 lb. Minimalist design definitely suits my style, yet it doesn't feature "zippered chest pocket" as written in the product description, which is something I would like to have as in other Kor Strata jackets. The harness-compatible zippered hand pockets work nice, but it means that the pockets locate higher than on other normal jackets, and it takes some time to get used to. Overall, I would like to recommend this product, especially for route climbers who need a harness-friendly and good-looking to jacket.

Amazing active jacket
Incredible light weight jacket that has all the features you’d like for active use. The stretch in the shoulders is nice when rock/ice climbing and the warmth is spot on with out being too much or little. The design really accounts for being able to wear a harness with it. If you climb and are looking for a jacket or mid layer this should be in your gear bag. Definitely satisfied with this product and would recommend to anyone.

Extremely comfortable and functional
I bought this jacket not only to stay warm but I wanted something lite I could wear as an everyday garment, its very comfortable and the hood option is excellent for the periodically rain. I highly recommend it.

Geared for the alpine
I love the warmth, breathability and relative weatherproofness of all the Kor line. It's become my go-to active layer for winter climbing and skiing, as well as for cold days rock climbing. An update to the Kor Climb I really enjoy is the long sash along the waist. This thing is longer than my other Kor jackets. It fits perfectly under my harness without any cords to get wrapped up in my gear. For ice or alpine climbing and ski touring, I tuck the jacket into my pants which creates a snow-proof seal. (Was I the only one getting snow down my back everytime I bend over to get something out of the pack?) A stellar update to the Kor and a must-have for any cold-weather enthusiast. Well done!
