Kor Preshell Pullover Jacket

Perfect for those cool spring runs where you don't want to run without some coverage, but don't want to wear something that'll pack heat, the Mountain Hardwear Kor Preshell Pullover Jacket offers an ideal balance between weather resistance and breathability. It's made with Pertex Quantum Air, an ultralight fabric that resists wind and water, but maintains air-permeability to keep you comfortable during your most high-intensity workouts. Light rains and moderate winds won't get to you, and you'll keep up a comfortable temperature even when you're working hard. Plus, you've got a deep chest zipper that offers added ventilation when you really start to work up a sweat. And if you decide that the weather's mellowed out enough to run without a jacket, you can stuff the jacket into its own hand pocket and for easy storage in a pack or pocket.

Awesome!

Love it! Bought one for a family member too. So lightweight, breathable and warm when it's brisk. I keep it in my grotto for "just in case" moments. Great lightweight protection from the elements! Pertex is one of the greatest fabrics.

Would buy again but hopefully won’t need to!

It’s so lightweight. Literally an amazing packable layer. Hate to say this buzz word but actually BUTTERY soft too.

A summer must-have

This pull-over is very light. It is lighter and warmer than a typical windbreaker. I used it while eating outside on a summer evening. It is very breathable. I have not tested rain and wind resistance. I sized up as recommended. It is a little larger than I would typically wear, but my actual size would probably not allow layering.

Very light, comfortable layer

I love this top as a multi-purpose, light weight item to take with me everywhere. I use it traveling, trail running, hiking and backpacking! It literally has so many uses. It can be used as a base layer, mid layer or as a light windbreak shirt/jacket. It is feather light and excellent at helping regulate body temp!

Cuffs needed

The wrist has no real cuff .. just elastic which is fine now but will stretch out in time. Wish it had cuffs.

Windshirt

A great lightweight shirt to slip into a pack for when a wind comes up or it turns cooler that you anticipated on your hike. It could fit into a pocket while cycling also.

Canoeist Approved!

I absolutely love this top. I wore it canoeing on the Mulberry River in Arkansas during chilly mornings 30° throughout the warmer day 60°, great for both. Nice sun protection and great to swim in, drys very quickly! Fits very well, true to size,

Must-have piece!

I bought one of these last year and use it all the time. In winter, it layers over my base layer and adds a breathable wind layer under a jacket. In warmer months, it is just enough to block out a chilly wind over a tank top. I used it often year round. It weighs nothing and takes up no room in my pack, so I bought a second one so I am always sure to have one on hand. I've also noticed that if I use it as my outer layer while xc skiing and work up a sweat, it doesn't seem to hold odor, so I don't feel like I have to wash it all the time.

Perfect lightweight shell.....EXCEPT......

I have the Kor hoodie version and love it so much I decided to purchase the pullover. I was surprised and disappointed to see that it only has ONE pocket. Come on! It is so awkward and I am constantly going to put my hands in the pockets and one goes in while the other gets rejected and rubs my stomach. The added weight involved in adding a second/right pocket is SO minimal and would complete the functionality of this.
