The Perfect Hiking Backpack
Absolutely thrilled with the product. I have taken it on 3-4 hikes ant this point and so far it has worked perfectly. My back stays cool, the zippers are easy to use, the compartments are useful to stay organized, and the hydration pouch system is ideal. Can’t wait to try it on longer day trips, where I can test out the hip straps and potentially use the mesh pouch!

Great but…
Front mesh pocket is a great idea but it doesn't secure which makes it pretty much useless. The top two latches can be secured with the toggles that are for the trekking poles, but the two lower (middle) ones won’t stay latched. The lack of attachments also leave large holes. Everything else on the pack is awesome, everything I expect from Mountain Hardware.

Versatile day pack
Great simple pack for day trips with enough straps and internal capacity to scale up when needed. Climbs well and slim. I think this will be my daily driver for ski patrolling this winter too.

Top tier bag
An absolute top notch bag. I can’t say enough. Totally worth the price. Lightweight, easy of access, straps and back panel extremely well thought out. Just get it, you won’t regret it.

Good Carry-on Bag
Used it as my carry-on on an international trip, and it was great for that. Very comfortable, could fit a ton. Excited to get it out in the wild soon.

Expected a bit more actually

I was really hoping for more from this pack. The straps are very thick and don't allow enough free floating. When put on the straps they pull out and you are forced to use the sternum strap even for just walking around. The angle they are sewn are awkward for an outdoor pack and they aren't particular mobile or comfortable. The hip belt pockets are a bit bizarrely placed, in that you can't really see them when you are trying to put things in them and they should come out further on the belt. Anything in the hip belt pockets is on the curve of your waist/hip bones, so for example a phone will not rest easily in the pocket. The hidden mesh pocket seems like a great idea, but the mesh doesn't have enough elasticity to really hold a jacket well, never seen a mesh panel with such poor elastic recoil. I also was surprised that the back panel didn't have enough airflow. My back ended up with much more condensation and sweat then with other back packs. The structure and internal support is great, can comfortably hold a heavy load for a 25 liter back, but all in all this is not a particularly comfortable pack. I really wanted this to be my go to hiking/travel backpack had too many things that had poor design. I kind of expected your design engineers would have seen these basic flaws before it went to market. I had to return this pack. Many feature that look great and check the boxes, but the execution is not good.

Not worth the price of admission.
Cheap materials for a premium price. Not worth the price of admission for this one. Can't adjust the torso, and couldn't find any other reasons or special features that warrant the price for a basic pack.
