Burn, baby, burn.
Sound the alarm: the Mountain Hardwear Heratio Women's 32-Degree Down Sleeping Bag is setting sleepers on fire (in a good way, mind) and this three-alarm blaze of warmth and comfort doesn't show any signs of slowing down. You can't put it out with water, since the 650-fill down's been treated with Q.Shield to resist water, and the tough nylon shell has a DWR coating to further keep the wet at bay. Neither can you just expect everything to cool down on its own, since the ThermoTrap baffle system keeps down in place for increased warmth and the women's-specific mummy shape provides extra insulation around the torso and feet, where ladies need it most. The Heratio's rated to be comfortable down to 32°, making it a perfect, lightweight late spring, summer, and early fall bag for campers, backpackers, and sleeping enthusiasts.

- Q & A
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
After researching several different companies and websites, I decided this seemed to be the best bag to get if I wanted great quality and a one-time purchase.
I bought this bag before a three-month backpacking trip to New Zealand, and while I ended up spending more time in hostels than in a tent, the chilly/dewy nights I spent on the south island were for the most part spent in the great outdoors. I was very happy to have this bag. The quilted down is super soft and comfy, and paired with my Therm-a-rest Pro4 sleeping pad, made for restful nights no matter the weather. The zipper never caught, and I like that it has a little extra velcro flap to cover the scratchy side when not in use. The top can be pulled over your head snugly, which was definitely useful on the colder nights.
It was warm, but I never overheated, and I love how small it can be packed. Ultimately I really like it and it will definitely be coming with me wherever my next adventure takes me!
Great bag for price

This is a great sleeping bag for the price point. Comfy and pretty lightweight. (Highest quality down to weight ratio is Western Mountaineering - and it comes at a higher price tag). Would recommend.
I love this bag! I got it on accident in a great ups shipping fiasco and j couldn't be more pleased! The regular is perfect! I'm pretty short 5'2". But it didn't feel super long. It's a little shorter than my regular bags of different brands and it is perfect! The material is really soft and wonderful. The bag is super warm too! I also like that j don't really see all the freshers through the material which makes me feel like the material is better quality. The zipper doesn't get caught in he material either! Love it!!!!
