“The Ghost Whisperer Reversible is the same awesome ultralight down jacket you know and love, but in a new and exclusive Backcountry package. Aesthetically, you get the classic looking Ghost Whisperer on one side. Reverse it, and you have a no-baffle look that is clean and completely unique for a down piece. Functionally, the reverse side has two chest pockets which I think adds a bit of versatility. When I’m wearing a pack, the hip belt makes it hard to use the hand packets. Wearing it reversed gives me pocket access that I would otherwise not have. The Ghost Whisperer has been a staple in my kit for years and a piece I could absolutely not afford to leave behind. At a highly packable 8 ounces, it is always with me whether I’m climbing, splitboarding, backpacking or even trail running.”

    Truly amazing

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

I have been yearning for a new Ghost Whisperer ever since I got my first a year ago. I got it in a small, to wear over a baselayer and under a rain/wind shell, and it is ridiculously warm for it's weight. I throw it in my pack for cold fall rides when I know a wind shell wont be enough for a long descent. Or toss it in the supplies for when I am not sure what the day will bring. I got this one in a medium though, so as to make it a little more versatile, as the small is SKIN tight on me, I wanted to be able to wear it in public and not get laughed at. The reversible version feels like it might block the wind a little better while only sacrificing a few grams due to it's one extra taffeta layer. The Medium is still trim, but I could layer a flannel underneath easily. I am 5'10
