Runs a tad small or just a very trim fit

It fits like a baselayer would and how it fits in the pics on the models. This is fine but I got it to wear as a mid layer while climbing, mtb, hiking, etc. And I unfortunately do not look as good as the models wearing it, it shows every bump and roll I got ha! I should've sized up for a looser fit. I always wear a medium and I bought a medium. It seems warm, I've been too self-conscious to wear it for my intended purpose but I plan on cutting about 5-10lbs so I'm going to keep it.
