Why We Like The Firefall/2 Anorak

After another fresh foot of snow, we grab a coffee, toss on the Firefall/2 Anorak, and rush to the resort. While we're shredding through fresh pow, the two-layer shell repels ski spray and the synthetic insulation keeps us warm as can be. We love the unique pullover style and how easy it is to layer on, thanks to the easy-entry side zip and the massively-long center zip. We also dig how these features double as quick ventilation when the underarm zips aren't doing it for us.

Fits Expectations

I bought this for myself. I wanted an anorak so I can layer more when colder and also so I can shed layers as the temperature climbs. I'm tall so I was concerned about the length since it's not in the description. The large fits me very well. The length is perfect and covers my butt which is what I wanted. I hate cold drafts up my back! It's roomy, has ample pocket space, and a generous hood for a helmet. The sleeves are long enough for my long arms. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I haven't tested it on the slopes yet.

Perfect Pull-over

Ordered this jacket for the 2022 ski season. Got a few compliments on the jacket for the different style and color which I loved since it helps me stand out on the mountain when my family is searching for me after a run. I am 4?10, 36 D ordered a size Large. The length wasn?t overwhelming since I?m so short it hit about mid-thigh which is what I expected for the style I saw in the picture. The inside hem buttoned right at my waist so no powder or wind was creeping thru. The only issue I had was that the length of the sleeves were too long. The wrist had a Velcro clasp to keep in place but it was a little more fabric for my liking. When I received this I though it was much thinner than all my other ski jackets but with my usual base layer and the jacket I was comfortable and warm for my all day ski outing.
