    Rain, rain go away.

Ok, politely asking the rain to go away probably isn't going to work, but wearing the Mountain Hardwear Women's Finder Parka will make the weather a lot more tolerable. Its longer length provides even more protection from rain and adds just a bit more warmth to the equation. An adjustable hood keeps the rain out of your face, while an elasticized waist gives the jacket a flattering fit.

    Perfect fit!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 145lbs

I was happy to see that it fit perfectly. I got one size too big so I can fit more clothing underneath during the colder months. Surprisingly, it rained today (I received it yesterday) so I was able to try it out immediately! I couldn't be happier with the length and it's ability to keep me dry. The hood doesn't fall to far down as well, which has been a problem I've had with past rain jackets.

    Nice waterproof shell

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'5"

This is a stylish coat that keeps you dry and looking good! I like the length and features. I deducted one star because the material is a little stiff; I prefer a softer material. I also purchased the medium so I could fit a warm layer underneath.

    Drizzle Downer

update--i bought the Mountain Hardwear Plasmic Dry.Q® Evap Trench --NOT this jacket. They look very similar. Maybe this one is better....
I read the other positive reviews and i am wondering if i even own the same jacket! I live in Seattle and walk 45 mins to work and a lot of the times in the rain-hence my purchase of this jacket. Now i do LOVE the length and the double ended zippers-my thighs stay nice and dry and the hood keeps my face dry and shielded from the wind. But i do find the jacket to sweat on the inside. Today i walked to work and my arms were soaking wet by the time i peeled the jacket off. My hair was wet even when it was under a hood the whole time. Not the front wispy hair but the crown of my neck was damp and the top was damp. It was like peeling off a wet bathing suit-thankfully i packed a spare shirt to wear. Good to note-it wasnt pouring rain either. Just a light rain. I wear this hear and there and normally i am fine, warm, and not wet since rain isnt really thaaaat bad in seattle. But today, the jacket really showed it lack of water proofness. Sort of a bummer as i love the vibrant bright pinkish color-i will wear it for light walks and outings. Maybe just not all the way to work.

    Perfect for the NW

My mom kept complaining about her rain jacket, so I decided to give this one a shot and it was such a hit. She is a petite woman (5'4"), but even though it was long it didn't overwhelm her frame. It keeps her super dry and she looks pretty chic in it as well.

    Just Right!

I live in Northern Michigan and needed a longer rain jacket to get me through the rainy spring season, this jacket so far has held up beautifully. The fit is true to size, and it is just the right length, not too long, not too short. I love the large zip pockets. The hood falls well over my face leaving plenty of room and great protection from the rain. Wore this Jacket up to the bluffs with 35 mph winds and was extremely surprised at how well it's wind protection worked. Very lightweight, and is the perfect jacket for rain/wind protection.

I recently moved to the rainy Pacific Northwest and my old rain jacket has seen better days. I knew I needed a new jacket for my adventures, but was hesitant to spend a lot of money. I found this and I am so glad I purchased it. I love the length and it kept me dry last weekend as we hiked thorough rain, hail and snow. It fits well and is great for hiking or just walking downtown. I am very happy with this jacket.
