Great lightweight waterproof rain jacket

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit:
True to size
Size Bought
L
Height
5` 8"
Weight
175 lbs

I took my new rain jacket out for a spin yesterday morning knowing it was supposed to rain. It was chilly out when I started, but the jacket was roomy enough to have my vest on underneath. The kangaroo pocket was great for storing a waffle and my gloves. The chest pocket also comfortably fit my iphone8. I didn’t feel restricted with my movements at all. When the rain started it was a light drizzle at first. The jacket shed the drops and I was still reaching into the pockets for my phone to take pictures. Once it was raining cats and dogs I pulled the hood up and continued to stay dry even through sideways rain. The last 1/2 mile it started to hail and still no issues with the jacket. Best rain jacket I’ve had in over a decade. Only drawback is trying to shuck the jacket in a downpour. Pulling it up over my head, I managed to dump a bucket of water on my dry clothes. I’m sure with more practice I’ll become efficient.
