Pragmatic minimalist attire
Fit is relaxed for layering. Build quality is very good. Design is thoughtful and minimalist. Overall a great value for a durable jacket.

Great Jacket, but missing pit zippers
I have lots of Mountain Hardware gear and clothing, and really love the quality and durability. In this instance, I purchased the LIGHT version of the same jacket I purchased two years ago. Interestingly, there are noticeable differences that I didn't discern when I purchased each. For example, the normal version has pit zippers and plenty of pockets. However, it does not have the ability to zip up from the bottom. While the LIGHT version doesn't have pit zippers, it has the ability to zip up from the bottom. My only regret is I didn't get an extra-large version of the non-light version.

Almost great jacket
Nice color and fit, very large pocket on the chest. But why there are no armpit zippers? It's very strange for a jacket of that kind of purpose. What's the point on that MHW?

Wicked slicker
Feels great. Performs great. Not as important, or maybe the most important, I have received a lot of compliments wearing it… I kinda look good in it.

Not Great
- Size Bought:

Fits more snug than it should. It?ll definitely compress your insulating layers. It also does not have the zippered underarm vents as described in the features list. Even the tag on the actual product says zippered underarm vents, but it does not actually have them. This will definitely be a failed product when mountaineering due to those vents not being present. It?s just an expensive rain jacket. Mountain Hardware, you definitely missed the mark on this one.

Not as advertised — no pit vents
The on-line description listed zipped pit vents as a feature. When it arrived I discovered there were no pit vents, so I sent it back.
