Product: This product arrived with a defective waist pull cord. The cord was snapped out of the box. This is being returned immediately. Sizing was a little snug when putting on would be layers for colder days. Cuffs were also a little tight. Over the glove will be tough to do. Jacket is crinkly/noisy but on par with other 3L GTX. Customer Service: My experience left much to be desired with BCs customer service. During my interaction with the agent, through chat, I was put on hold 7 times. To arrive at a resolution took just shy of two hours. I ended up with a less desired color at the same cost and the jacket will arrive 3 days later from when I originally received the first jacket: 13 days from my original order (not including sundays). I did receive a store credit, however, the value in my opinion was not worth the delay in product and hassle with customer service that I went through. Please isolate the jacket defect from the customer service piece of this review when deciding whether or not to buy this product. BC is acting as a middle man and the product defect was not their fault.

Bought a men's medium in the dark zinc color. Nice jacket and lightweight, however I returned it due to a few shortcomings. The sleeve cuffs are narrow in comparison to other shell jackets, making it difficult to get sleeves over gloves, even under-cuff gloves. The area around the neck is tight when fully zipped, to the point it was hard to cover my face, especially when wearing a ski helmet with or without the hood up. Also, the main zipper is one way only and kind of bulky compared to the other zippers.

Beware of Mountain Hardwear's "Lifetime"

I learnt the hard way that Mountain Hardwear's "Lifetime" warranty isn't. After returning a top of the line goretex jacket for a warranty repair because the armpit zippers had failed (the glue holding the zipper failed), I was told my jacket was too old and their "Lifetime" warranty is "Limited". I urge anyone buying Mountain Hardware products to carefully review the "Limited" terms of the "Lifetime" warranty BEFORE you purchase.

Not sure why that post was flagged

Does this have anything to do with this jacket or just the manufacturer?
