    Awesome Rain Jacket

I lived in Florida for over two years and I lived and died by this jacket. Regardless of the rainstorm, I always seem to stay dry. Would recommend this jacket to anyone. The fit is nice and true to size.

I bought this jacket before I went on a trip to Ireland, where I knew staying dry would be important. It rained every day and I stayed dry the whole time. The vents in the armpits wee perfect to let out a little steam during hikes. I would recommend.

I bought the jacket to take backpacking. Our second day I had the jacket on most of our five hour hike and off and on the fourth day. The jacket held up great with a pack on, fit great to keep out rain and was comfortable, and breathed real well. I love the hand pockets too. Easy to get into with a pack on.

    Held up great

    Great Lightweight Jacket

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Great all around rain jacket. I've put it through the paces without any issues in the rain or wind. It's worked well as a runaround in the rain jacket to fall hiking in and sailing in the NE. The wrist velcro wrist adjustment is a welcome departure from elastic, it's especially helpful when layering. 180lb - 6' - M fit well with room for a mid-layer.

    Great rain jacket.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XL
    • Height: 6'3"
    • Weight: 250lbs

I love this jacket, it's roomy enough to add a warm base layer, and the helmet draw cord is great to give better fit with or with out wearing a helmet. This fits perfectly.

    Dry in the PNW!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 6'0"
    • Weight: 170lbs

Purchased this jacked for a two week trip to the PNW. Of course, it saw rain, lots of rain. I stayed dry and comfortable and the pit zips are great for additional ventilation and for when I needed to cool off. I found it to be true to size and I was able to wear a base layer. The hook and loop wrist adjustment for me is necessary. Many other jackets just have elasticized wrists. I am 6 feet tall, 170 lbs, and Medium is right for me.

Nice lightweight jacket. Sized way small

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Size Bought: XXL
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 195lbs

Bought is for spring bike and bc skiing. So far it has been good. I ordered about 1/2 size big so I could layer (XL). That was still too small so I went back for XXL. I am pretty average sized.

Update: If you will be riding in windy rainy or windy sleet conditions use a different jacket, the zipper is not waterproof when the wind is blown in, like on a bike. Otherwise I still like the jacket and it is my goto for AT skiing and biking, just not in extreme weather.

How much does it way, and how small will it compact?

The jacket weighs 10.7 oz (that's extremely lightweight), and it packs into it's own pocket. The guy in this video packs it at the end so you can see how small it can get:
