If you are one of those ladies who have a curvy athletic build like me, you often struggle finding pants that fit and are comfortable. They are always too big or too small somewhere. Well, these might be the pants for you. I purchased the Small in Short. I am 5'4" and 124 lbs with a natural waist of 28" and my hips are 37". I struggle finding pants I think fit and are comfortable so when I read the views the people found these to be a little big I figured they would fit well and they did! I am not sure why people say these run big. According to the size chart my mesurements fit on the high side of the small for my waist and my hips on the low side and they fit great. Maybe even a little snug but not in a bad way because they are super sketchy. Maybe it is because they stretch out a little after wearing but the waist never does so they don't ever get to the point of falling down. I have worn them climbing outside a couple of times and they seem durable so far. The material doesn't make the crinkle noise some stretchy pants do and despite the fabric being thin it has a little warmth for how thin it is. If you are climbing on gritty rock like sandstone or limestone they can get caught on the rock a little but they have not snagged. After wearing them a couple of times, I went back and ordered another pair. I will say the light army ones seem to very slightly smaller then the original dusk purple I bought but they still fit well.

Is the fabric noisy? With 96% nylon, I'm afraid the pants will sound 'swishy'. Thanks!
