Thermal Tight, warm and comfortably snug

+10 degrees F on a frozen lake with 15+MPH wind gusts in the Adirondacks for 6-1/2 hours and I stayed comfortably warm with this as my base layer.

Poor quality, expect better

Bought this about six weeks ago and put it on yesterday for first to give it a try. Disappointed to say the least, it tore immediately upon putting it on. I have had many MHW products over the years but this was easily the most disappointing. Should be more robust considering its price.

Tissue paper

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Comfortable, nice fitting and reasonably warm for their weight, but not suited for their purpose--or maybe any purpose. The first time I wore them, taking them off, my finger went through the fabric of the leg like it was tissue paper. Not even a seam. Just poked right through. I wasn't being forceful and had read the review that they weren't durable, but that was really ridiculous. Take the into the backcountry? Never! A defective design and production, not suited for its intended use.

Amazing Baselayer

Wow, I got both the top and bottom last winter and these things are truly amazing. I have always been a believer in synthetic base layers and have used many other popular brands and these blow them out of the water. When I wear these in cross country skiing or sleeping in my bag I only feel warmth. Any sweat that I make (and I am a sweaty dude) is wicked away and evaporated so fast. With most synthetic materials that I have experienced the sweat is wicked away but it takes some time for it to leave the actual garment. I especially notice this when sleeping in them in the extra warm spots such as the armpits and crotch that you aren't sweaty but you can feel the sweat on the base layer. This is not the case with these, all I feel is comfortable warmth. I also think the fit is perfect on these. I am a pretty skinny and tall dude 6'1" 165 lbs and they are snug in the areas you want it to be snug and loose in the areas you want it to be looser but overall have a great deal of stretch. They have held up great so far and I have washed them several times. I have noticed though that after taking them out of the washer to hang dry they smell pretty bad. The wet wool smell makes you think they are still dirty but once they dry the stink goes away. I seriously recommend these and they have converted me from synthetic base layers.

I’m living in these

These thermals are very comfortable, not restrictive and keep me very warm. Absolutely love them!
