Nice Product But Don't Like The Fit

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: L

I bought these pants to use as a mid layer between compression pants and Gore Tex outer pants on colder Winter hikes. Pants have a lot of good features like length side zips for venting and putting on over shoes, pockets, etc.

The one glaring issue for me is the fit. The pants are supposed to be "trim alpine fit" and they are. But the cut of the crotch and/or waist makes them want to ride down in "plumbers butt" mode once you start walking around. I think the size I bought is right for me. It seems more like the cut itself is more of a "hip hugger" type fit that causes the issue because it rides too low on the waist, even with the crotch cinched all the way up. Unclear if going to a larger size would help or just give me longer legs.

But I've already worn and washed them so I'm committed. Love the pants. Just wish the fit was better.
