Why We Like the Cloud Bank GORE-TEX Insulated Jacket

Beloved powder snow is at its best when temperatures drop and the moisture content is low—but our bodies don’t exactly thrive in those same conditions. The Cloud Bank GORE-TEX Insulated Jacket remedies that problem with strategically mapped synthetic insulation that provides extra heat to the core to keep you comfortable from the first chair to the final lap. This jacket also combats the elements with a GORE-TEX shell that not only fights off winter precipitation and wind, but also allows excess heat to escape for internal moisture control.

Great Jacket

This jacket is amazing! super warm, and keeps you dry no matter what. Runs a bit big, I kinda wish I got a medium

Very large in the torso.

Very large in the torso. If you are a burly muscle guy, this will be good. If you are a lean endurance guy, you will swim in this jacket.

My go to jacket in heavy weather

This is my go to coat on heavy snow days. It’s warm enough to wear with minimal layering on cold days and the gortex keeps the water out. The Cloud Bank is also durable; I’ve put it through the wringer and its looks and functions great. Best heavy weather ski coat I’ve owned.

The best I ever had

I bough this jacket in black, let me tell you! It’s soooo confortable, lots of pockets, perfect for wallet, keys, ski pass, and more! It’s pretty warm, I only used a long sleeve cotton T-shirt and I didn’t need more. Pretty warm guaranteed!

Great resort jacket

Great jacket warm with just a base layer on. Only time it got saturated was on a very wet spring snow day. But stayed dried underneath. Love the dark purple color

Solid jacket. Super happy.

I’m 6’0” 210 lbs and went with the XL size. Super happy with the fit (I was worried about size L since I have monkey arms) Color and quality are solid and I like that it’s insulated so I don’t have to wear a million layers. I had just the jacket and a t-shirt on a 28 degree day and never got cold. Tons of pockets.

Chest pockets

I really like the coat. It fits as expected. There are more pockets than I thought. Keeps me very warm when I need it. My main problem is with the chest pockets. They are easy to open. However, they're difficult to close at their angle. It always takes me two hands to close them.

Versatile, great jacket!

One of my first major outdoor gear purchases and I love it. I had originally bought this jacket so I could withstand harsher winter conditions hiking in New Hampshire's white mountains where it's fairly common to hike in single digit temps. As far as insulation, this jacket will keep you warm and dry and more than protect from wind. The abundance of pockets are super helpful, and I haven't run into zipper snags like I have with some other jackets. The zippers are also great for relieving heat once I would break a sweat. It is a bit bulky, but it fits great in the sleeves which is what I need (I'm 5'11, 165lbs but long arms). I've since upgraded to new mountaineering jackets that are more lightweight, but my Cloud Bank has instead repurposed as my go-to snowboarding jacket. It's withstood plenty of falls and keeps me plenty dry. The venting systems also allow me to keep it on constantly no matter how long I'm on the mountain.
