I like the look and fit of this top. Over the last year I’ve purchased 3 of them so that I can alternate. Wear them mostly for hiking, backpacking, and just around town.

Sturdy top, but not for running

Hi actually love this top. First off, I hate wearing both a sports bra AND a shirt, so the two in one bra top is my favorite. This top has a lot of coverage, so my chest doesn't fall out of the top or the sides, which is awesome. Some of the threads broke when I first put the top on, so that was dissappointing. But it still works. It could have been engineered better - thicker fabric in the front and stronger stiching. But I hope someday that these companies can get women's outdoor clothing right, because they really aren't built to be as durable as mens. And this is an example of that.

I love Mountain Hardware clothing, but this was such a let down. The fabric is thicker in the back than the chest. It completely lacks support in the chest and shows all detail (not transparent, but thin). I bought for running and climbing - definitely wouldn?t wear for either. I had high hopes, but had to return.

One of my favorite Hardwear items yet!
I'd already owned the Chockstone Tight and really liked how durable the fabric is, so I was interested to see how it would feel as a top, and it did not disappoint!! The stretchy panels on the sides and lower back make it really easy to put on/take off and work out in, and I like that even though it has so many performance features, it doesn't look overly sporty, so you can wear it all the time! This will definitely be a summer go-to that I'll continue to use all year long as a comfy bra under layers.

Awesome material and fit!
I've been curious about this top for a while, and finally went ahead and purchased - so glad I did! The fabric on the inside is cozy soft and the fit is pretty flattering. It's been my go-to lately for hikes, paired with the Coveland shorts. Highly recommend.

MHW doesn't make anything in XS!
I was so excited for this tank! It seems like a perfect piece for keeping your core protected from wind, but allowing you to stay cool on warm cragging days. Unfortunately, like everything that I've tried on from Hardwear, it fits way too large. I am usually a size XS, but nothing –and I mean NOTHING–fits my frame at Hardwear. Bummed since I have a pretty typical frame for a female sport climber: kinda flat-chested, petite limbs, wide-ish traps and shoulders, just under 5'2", and around 100lbs. I had high hopes for this tank, but it seems like Hardwear still hasn't gotten a grasp on a truly inclusive sizing spectrum for their core female athletes.
