New favorite cropped pant.

Great pants for a nice walk with the dog. Also for travel. Zippered pockets are secure and convenient.

Love these!

I love these pants! Yes, there is a bit of pilling, but I just bought a deep pilling thing that I use on the pants every few wears. To me it’s worth it because they are so versatile and comfortable. I am a teacher and they are really comfortable for all of the moving around I do and they still look nice with sweaters and sneakers at work.

Great pants!

I’m not sure while a little pilling bothers anyone, because of all the recreational pants I’ve bought, these are the most comfortable, best looking and well designed. The drawstring doesn’t need to be used but is handy. They are a little expensive for pants, but my husband and I love them. We just need more colors..black, light gray, khaki, navy blue.

Favourite pants

They fit beautifully, are extremely comfortable, and they breathe and keep you cool. Mountain Hardwear rarely disappoints, and these pants are my new favourite for sure.

I wanted to love them

These fit well and I wanted to love them! But after 1 singular wash (no dryer) they pilled like crazy!! I'm SO disappointed that I spent this much money on something that I can only wear at home and/or out in the yard after just 1 wash. Super cheap fabric that makes me feel really disappointed in Mountain Hardware. I had a pair of capris from the 90s that lasted 2 decades before I had to retire them! This new direction has me searching for different company.

Sadly disappointed

These pants run really large. At first I was disappointed when I received my online order because of the size I received.. the item said true to size and according to the sizing chart it’s obvious I order my usual medium.. however I could have very easily gotten away with a small or even extra small. I needed the pants for work so sending them back and waiting again wasn’t really an option.. so I wore them anyways.. two times after wear pilling in the crotch area. I’m so disappointed that I spent this much on these pants :(

Terrible Material

Love the cut and colour of these pants, but the material is less than adequate. It was pilling after a few wears. I am not sure where MH is sourcing their textiles, but this is the third pair of pants I have purchased that have had this quality issue. I am so disappointed that I had to write a review.

Very disappointing

I have and love the MH Chockstone so I figured these would be a great addition as a climbing pant. I liked them when I first got them, but after the first wear and wash (on delicate!) they pilled to a point beyond wearability. Considering the price point on this pant, I was really disappointed.

Great pants, but the fabric pills too fast

These pants pilled within the first couple wears. I haven’t worn them for more than light gym bouldering and some light town hiking. The gusset is pilled worse than any pants I’ve owned for years. Even the front of the thighs have pilled and there’s no friction there. They fit great and are extremely comfortable. I love the ankle cinch as well. I just wish they were higher quality especially considering the price point.
