- Q & A
Great Flannel, shrinks a little
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: Small
- Height: 5'11"
- Weight: 135lbs
I have two of these shirts, and the material and look are both fantastic. They're tough and durable, and don't have the fuzziness of a normal flannel. I've had them both for years and they show no signs of wear.
The only thing is that it seems that they shrink a little over time - even though they're 100% cotton. After years of washing them, they seem to be smaller than they used to be, meaning I need to wear them over shorter t-shirts. So I would suggest sizing up if you are on the edge of a size decision.
Buy these but wait for a sale

Mountain hardware doesn't lie. Who knew a flannel could be noticabley better than other flannels. I bought 3 of these. The material, fit, and style are awesome. Only thing is, they are pretty pricey. I can only buy them on a good sale. I own several items from MH and have never been disappointed; sleeping bag, ski jacket shell, ski pants, and these flannels.
