Working Great! And have taken a beating!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I have used these a ton!. I've used them on basic hikes to climbing Rainier and they have not failed. They are durable and decently light weight. I've taken these down rock, ice, and mud for about a 2 hours on Little Tahoma and they still held strong. Besides keeping out the snow, they definitely keep my nice pants safe from rips and tears from my crampons. They are easy to put on and they do have an adjustable strap around the calf so they will stay tight! Definitely worth spending the extra money to get a durable gaiter that can do it all!
Everything else works great. Just wish they came in a different color besides black.
Medium fits me well at 165 lbs and 5'10"

Not worth it :(
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Bought these one year ago. First time out the rivets that connect the left lace-grommet broke. This made the left gaiter pretty much useless. After calling Mountain Hardware and trying to find a replacement piece and having no luck and no option for return, I found some replacement screwRivets on Amazon. Finding a suitable lace-grommet was more difficult. Finally found on Seattle Fabrics, had to drill out to make fit correctly, but got it all working. Put them on all fixed up, took my puppy for a walk and made it not 100 yards before another piece broke off--the bootstrap buckle system on right.
