The image is not accurate!

Do not recommend buying these shorts! The color is nothing like the image on the website. Very, very disappointed. :(

Not what I expected

These shorts are not shorts I would hike in. The rolled hem is in the way of taking big steps or kneeling. In addition, the fabric is heavy and not flexible. They simply would not be an asset during a long, arduous mountain hike. The style of these shorts is not flattering at all. They just seem to poof out all the way around. I am very petite and just seem lost in them although they are my size. I am not a fan of the Golden Brown color which really is not brown at all. These could be looked at as "dressier" shorts and could be worn around town by someone that likes the style. However, as mentioned above, they are definitely not something to be worn for hard core hiking. I will be returning them.

Cute, quality, but wrinkles easily

Not a lightweight short! Thick fabric lends structure and durability to these cute and functional shorts. Love the rolled hem on these. Can be rolled again for a more trendy look. Quality of the material is also great, the same as the AP pants which I love. Pockets are huge in the front but tiny in the back. Only the back pocket has closure for security, and it doesn't fit my phone. Front pockets fit a phone well, but I wouldn't climb with my phone in those loose pockets. My only issue is that these shorts wrinkle very easily. I was planning on using these shorts as my travel/hiking/climbing shorts on a backpacking trip, but the thick and wrinkle prone material makes them a tough sell for this purpose. They are actually really cute so I will continue using them for climbing, scrambling, and hiking in a hot dry climate - would prefer something lighter for a humid climate.

Huge!

150lbs - 5”4 - 32” waist - 43” Hips Took advice of other reviewer and ordered size down (12, instead of 14 as the chart suggests). Still too big! A size 10 should fit me.

Don't listen to the Fit predictor!!

Fits too large. The fit predictor advices me to take a 6 but I ended up ordered a 4 (because I were sceptikal, I wear 4 in Lululemon and 28 in Levi's) and the 4 is still too large for me.The look could be cute though. The real color is slightly darker than what it seems on the web (for both colors) but it's beautiful!
