Great for moderatly cold winter missions
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times

- small

I have another pair of puffy pants that are a lot warmer, and a lot heavier. However, they are too much for most of what I do in the winter. So I bought these to provide some warmth on small winter climbs. Ive used them a couple of times now, and they fit the bill perfectly. they are lightweight, and quite pack-able. I have no issue fitting them in to my clothing dry bag. When I reach my objective and need to layer up, they are warm enough for moderate elevation in winter. They are comfortable and warm over my lightweight soft-shells down to around 10F when paired with appropriate core layers. I'm extremely happy with them. The one con I would say is the lack of front pockets. It has a single zippered back pocket and no front pockets at all. Odd choice. It hasn't really been an issue so far though.
