Racing Fork Oil
As the old saying goes, when it comes to mountain bike suspension, there's more than one way to dig for money — or in this case, tune a fork. Oil, springs, and shims all can be mixed and matched to change your fork's ride characteristics. Motorex Racing Fork Oil is a terrific option for riders looking to change the feel of their suspension fork or simply replace old fork oil.
Oil serves two purposes in a suspension fork. First, it controls the movement of the wheel when it hits bumps — we call this damping. Second, the oil provides lubrication for the fork's internal parts, protecting against friction and corrosion. And by changing the weight (viscosity) of your suspension fork's oil, you can alter how it performs on the trail. Higher weight oils (10W and 15W) are thicker — they increase the fork's damping, providing slower movement over bumps in the trail. On the other hand, lighter, lower viscosity oils (2.5W, 5W and 7.5W) decrease a fork's damping.
Motorex Racing Fork Oil features Low Friction Technology that prevents foaming and corrosion, while treating and protecting the fork's seals. It comes in a 1L bottle, enough for several applications.

ALWAYS FACTORY
Whenever working on components that you dont want to keep working on constantly. Use factory parts and oils. The engineering that was used in these designs are tried, trued tested and proved. Why change?

Great oil to have for forks
Rebuilt my fork seals and decided to go with 5w and it made a great difference in the dampening on the front suspension for me.

Great Fork Oil
I've been using motorex fork oil for several years now. It has very good longevity with very little break down.

FYI
4w is now available in single liter containers (newer ktm forks). 4w Motorex is actually closer to Motorex 2.5w than to 5w viscosity-wise. http://www.motorexoil.com.au/wp-dev/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/MOTOREX-Fork-Oil-Viscosity-Mix.pdf

It works well
I consider this to be quality oil. I needed 10W for my Moto Guzzi and I'm happy with the performance of the product. Motosport is a good vendor, reasonable pricing, quick shipping and everything was done right.

Good oil but not what is specified
2016 KTM 250 XC-W specs call for 4wt fork oil! Who makes that--Motorex but only available by the gallon at about $140.00 or more! So what the heck--I settled for 5wt that is still a bit over priced but not like the 4wt oil! I doubt I will notice a difference between the oil viscosities.
